Our Management Team
President - Kari Simpson
Kari began her career in the yellow pages industry in 1983 and over the last 26 years has
been exposed to every aspect of the yellow pages business. The first five years of Kari's
career were spent in local sales and local sales training with Old Heritage Advertising
& Publishing, Inc., an independent directory publisher. Old Heritage published
approximately 140 directories in 8 states in the Midwest. During the next five years,
Kari was the Southeast Regional Director for YPPA (now YPA), representing 14 states.
In this position, Kari's responsibilities included providing training and consultation
to all association members in the southeast region (approximately 65 CMRs and 53
publishers) on all YPPA products and services. Kari spent the following five years
with Consolidated Directories, Inc., as Vice President-National Marketing charged
with increasing national sales. Under her direction, Consolidated Directories'
national revenues grew more than 500%. Since 1998, Kari has taken DMI from a
start-up company with one client to a multi-million dollar operation representing
approximately 30 utility and independent publishers nationwide.
CFO - Bill Simpson
Bill has been in the Information Technology (IT) field for over 20 years focusing on systems analysis and programming for PCs, midranges and mainframes. His current responsibilities include all matters related to IT and finance.
Director of Operations - Angela Bose
Joining DMI as bookkeeper in 1998, Angela has been instrumental in the development of DMI's
accounting and human resources departments. For the last 7 years, Angela has overseen accounts
payable, accounts receivable and payroll, and was promoted to Accounting Manager in 2002. In
2005, her role was further expanded to include human resources responsibilities, when she was
promoted to Director of Operations. Angela has also recently been given the challenge of
overseeing the redesign, maintenance and management of DMI's interactive CMR website.
Director of Sales Operations - Lisa Herrmann
Lisa began her career with DMI as its first employee in early 1998. As the company grew,
Lisa worked in every facet of the business, developing a tremendous amount of knowledge
, experience and expertise. Lisa spent several years in various marketing capacities before
transitioning into the operations side of the business, where she oversaw the daily
activities of the business for several years. Lisa moved into the sales support role
in 2006 where she leverages her expertise focused on managing DMI's involvement with
Rates & Data, order processing, production, and other process and reporting essentials.
Marketing Manager - Tammy Gann
Tammy joined DMI in January of 2004 as a Marketing Representative and within the first year was
promoted to Senior Marketing Representative as a result of her hard work and dedication. Since
that time, she has been an integral part of the Marketing department.
